Accepted the Assignment to Preach the Word and Love the People

​

Pastor M. Alice Littlejohn is a native of Gaffney, SC and the daughter of Claude Littlejohn and Azilee Valentine. Affectionately known as Pastor Alice, she serves as the Senior Pastor of Antioch Kingdom Building Ministries, Inc (AKBM) and shares her commitment in marriage with Lewis 'Sammy' Littlejohn. They are blessed with four children two daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

In 1998, her declaration of service and devotion to GOD led Pastor Alice forward in accepting the ministry assignment to preach the Word and love the people. Subsequently, she became licensed in 1999 and was ordained as Assistant Pastor of Antioch Baptist in 2001. From 2007-2008, she dutifully filled the position as the Interim Pastor which poised her for service in her current role as the Good Shepard of AKBM. Thus far, this servant leader's headship has empowered six licensed ministers, ordained two deacons, and installed six trustees. Each has graciously and passionately accepted the call to ensure AKBM's vision goes forth.

As a change agent, business leader, and visionary, Pastor Alice directed the charge of birthing City of Hope Bible College-Gaffney (COHBC) where she serves as Dean. Since inception on March 6, 2018, COHBC has produced two licensed ministers, welcomed more than 20 students, and embraced seven instructors. It also hosts multiple educational levels, ranging from a certificate to a master's degree. Pastor Alice's earnest desire to reach and empower the people of God, nationally and internationally, has led to the incorporation of remote learning access to COHBC's curriculum. With this option, those who seek to go higher in GOD's Word by digging deeper are no longer alienated.

Through diligence and the desire to lead by example, Pastor Alice earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Believer's Institute of Biblical Studies in Gaffney as well as a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Biblical Studies from COHBC-Greer. She has also served on the Boards of the Village School and Habitat for Humanity of Gaffney. Her travels have taken her abroad to St. Kitts, West Indies on several mission trips to assist in the spiritual growth of that community. As a playwright, she has visualized and masterfully brought three plays to fruition and is set to conceive even more.

With exuberance and thanksgiving, Pastor Alice's passion of operating in a spirit of excellence (Psalm 8:1) translates and transfers the Word of God on an everyday level for Kingdom Building. Thus, causing those who witness her biblical principles to: Think, Listen, Speak, and Live with a Kingdom Mindset!
